Spent the Sunday studying, spending time with chickens, doing yoga and cuddling with cats. I dare say I believe I’ve found happiness in the simplest form.
There is freedom waiting for you,
On the breezes of the sky,
And you ask “What if I fall?”
Oh but my darling,
What if you fly?
What a wonderful feeling.
Really dedicating this October to yoga.
For the past year I’ve been afraid to do inversions without a wall and just the end of September I can proudly do headstands and forearms stands without the safety of one! I’m beyond excited for myself for overcoming a task! I still need to work on splits, (hence the picture above) introduction to handstands and being able to transition poses to make more successful vinyasa flows but I’m determined to further my practice this month no matter how busy it may be. Stay focused, stay mindful.
Nobody in a relationship will ever get 100% of what they think they want, but if they love the person enough, the compromise to make each other happy will make it 100%.
My hair is seriously being chopped off. Like I’m not even waiting to go to a salon. Like I don’t even think I’ll have time to get a pair of decent scissors. I’m probably going to take a piss, look into the mirror and think, “holy shit. I can do it now.” And I will. And I will probably hate my hair for the next year, but I will love myself because it would’ve felt so good.
